Content & Copyright Policy

Not all content available through K-Prep is owned by K-Prep.

K-Prep's original content, including original notes, explanations, cheat sheets, solutions, study guides, question analysis, designs, software, graphics, and other materials independently created by K-Prep, is owned by K-Prep or the applicable creator, subject to applicable intellectual property rights.

Content originating from third parties remains subject to the copyright and other intellectual property rights of its respective owners.

The presence of third-party material on K-Prep does not mean that K-Prep claims ownership of that material.

K-Prep may organize, index, curate, display, or make academic resources accessible through the Platform to make studying more convenient for students.

Resources may originate from different sources, including:

• K-Prep's academic team
• Student contributors
• Faculty or academic contributors
• Previous academic examinations
• University-related sources
• Publicly available sources
• Other educational contributors

Where appropriate, K-Prep may provide attribution or identify the source or creator of a resource.

K-Prep creates original educational material intended to help students understand and prepare for their academic subjects.

Examples include:

• Handwritten notes created by the K-Prep team
• Cheat sheets
• Summaries
• Explanations
• Solutions
• Study guides
• Question analysis
• Important-question analysis
• Educational graphics
• Other original study resources

Unless otherwise stated, K-Prep original content may not be copied, reproduced, republished, redistributed, resold, or commercially reused without prior authorization from K-Prep.

Third-party materials available through K-Prep remain subject to the rights of their respective owners.

K-Prep does not claim ownership of third-party material merely because it is hosted, organized, indexed, displayed, or made accessible through the Platform.

Where the creator or source is known, K-Prep may provide appropriate attribution or source information.

Users should not interpret the availability of a resource as a transfer of copyright ownership.

K-Prep may allow students, faculty members, academic contributors, or other users to submit educational materials.

By submitting content to K-Prep, a contributor represents that, to the best of their knowledge:

• They have the necessary rights or authorization to submit the material.
• They are not knowingly submitting material in violation of another person's rights.
• The information provided about the material is accurate.

K-Prep may host, store, process, organize, display, and make the material available through the Platform as permitted by the contributor's authorization and applicable rights. K-Prep may request additional information or evidence regarding submitted content when necessary, and may restrict, disable, or remove submitted content where there is a legitimate ownership, copyright, legal, or policy concern.

If you believe that material available through K-Prep infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, we encourage you to contact us so that we can review the concern.

Where possible, a copyright report should include:

• Contact information
• Identification of the copyrighted work or material you believe is affected
• The K-Prep resource, page, or link where the material appears
• An explanation of your ownership or authorization
• The basis for your concern
• Supporting information or documentation, where available

Providing complete information helps K-Prep review the matter more efficiently.

When K-Prep receives a legitimate copyright or ownership concern, we may review the information provided and, where appropriate, contact relevant contributors or other parties for additional information.

Depending on the circumstances, K-Prep may:

• Request additional information
• Correct attribution or source information
• Restrict access to the reported material
• Temporarily disable access while a matter is reviewed
• Remove or replace the material
• Restore access where a claim cannot be substantiated
• Take other reasonable steps based on the circumstances

Submitting a copyright report does not automatically establish that infringement has occurred. K-Prep may consider the information and circumstances surrounding the reported material before taking appropriate action.

If content has been restricted or removed following a copyright concern, the relevant contributor may provide information demonstrating their authorization, ownership, or other relevant rights.

K-Prep may review additional information and determine appropriate next steps based on the circumstances and applicable requirements.

Nothing in this policy prevents any rights holder or contributor from exercising rights available under applicable law.

Where appropriate and where information is available, K-Prep may identify the creator, contributor, source, faculty member, institution, or other relevant attribution associated with a resource.

Attribution does not by itself transfer ownership of the material to K-Prep or to the user accessing it.

Likewise, attribution should not be interpreted as a representation that K-Prep is officially affiliated with or endorsed by the identified institution or individual unless such a relationship is expressly stated.

K-Prep may provide resources relevant to particular universities, institutions, courses, departments, or academic programs.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the availability of such material does not indicate that K-Prep is officially affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by the relevant university or institution.

K-Prep does not claim ownership of institutional or university-related material merely because such material is made available through the Platform.

K-Prep may organize and provide access to previous-year questions and other academic questions as part of its educational resources.

K-Prep may also create original analysis, categorization, explanations, solutions, and study resources based on academic questions.

Where the underlying questions or examination materials are subject to third-party rights, those rights remain with the applicable rights holder.

K-Prep resources are provided primarily for personal academic and educational use.

Users may access resources made available to them through their authorized K-Prep account for their own learning.

Unless expressly permitted, users must not:

• Republish K-Prep resources
• Upload K-Prep resources to another platform
• Resell or commercially distribute K-Prep resources
• Create a competing repository using substantial portions of K-Prep's library
• Remove applicable attribution or ownership information
• Systematically copy or scrape the K-Prep resource library

Users are responsible for obtaining any necessary authorization before redistributing third-party material.

K-Prep may provide access to multiple resources through a single platform access plan.

The availability of resources under a paid access plan does not transfer ownership of the resources to the user.

The access fee supports the operation and maintenance of the K-Prep Platform, including infrastructure, hosting, storage, development, maintenance, and the creation and curation of educational resources.

K-Prep does not represent that every resource available through the Platform is owned by K-Prep.

K-Prep aims to maintain a responsible content-management process and may take reasonable steps when credible ownership or copyright concerns are brought to its attention.

Where appropriate, K-Prep may work with contributors and rights holders to clarify ownership, authorization, attribution, or continued availability of material.

Copyright and ownership reports should be submitted in good faith.

Knowingly providing materially false or misleading information in a copyright complaint may have consequences under applicable law.

K-Prep reserves the right to consider the reliability and completeness of information provided in a report.

K-Prep may update this Content & Copyright Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Platform, content practices, applicable requirements, or legal developments.
